Transformers began its life has a toyline for Hasbro and centres on 2 waring factions of robots from the planet Cybertron – The Autobots and Decepticons. In it’s nearly 30 year history they have featured in comic books, animations, films and video games.
With the third instalment of the Transformers Motion Picture hitting our cinema screens this summer it only seems fitting to do a little feature on one of my all time favourite cartoons from my childhood. Although I admit I prefer G1 the original 80’s series and the original movie to the more modern series a.k.a Prime and Animated although I did like the look of the Armada series but don’t get me started on Beast Wars! I actually wasn’t so keen on the stories of the recent Michael Bay movies either. What the hell was he thinking with Revenge of the Fallen?!

The first hour sucked. Loads of action in the 2nd hour. Not as bad as I was expecting. Megatron was pretty pathetic in it and took a back seat again. On the whole it was watchable.
