Logos offer a concept or a meaning for a business and pair it with a philosophy in a visual manner to create an image that allows the audience to see what the company is about. Illustrations do this better than most and offer the audience the chance to interpret a design and the company to spread a message. As the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words, so witty and well designed logos are often one of the most important design parts of a business.
The penchant for witty and humorous design logos has taken a huge turn in recent years as more start-ups have become evident and more stodgy attitudes are replaced.
Inspiring logos featuring an illustration don’t have to be very complex. In fact it is generally far better to have simpler logos than ones that can be considered too busy as they do a better job at getting an impression of a company or a business across.
By using an element of the vintage it is possible for a company to create an impression of what their beliefs or message is.
