The album cover plays an important part in the world of music. It’s used as a marketing tool and also an expression of artist intent and over the last 50 years or so the album covers just keep getting more and more creative. In this mixed collection of album covers ranging from The Beatles to Daft Punk you can see some amazing works of art and they clearly they do their job of getting peoples attention. Although in modern times with the popularity of music downloads the prevalence of the beloved album cover design is uncertain but anyway here they are – I present some great designs and definitely some great albums.

Nice to see Daft Punk. I really like the typography and metal look and the Fatboy Slim cover always makes me chuckle.

Cool collection. A lot of albums I haven’t heard of and it’s a shame because I’d have missed out on some great album artwork if it were not for this nice list and well done.
