66 Design Blogs You Can’t Afford To Miss
The interweb is not short on design blogs as you may well know and obviously you are viewing one of those many, many design blogs right now and I sure know that there is a lot of competition out there (including ones with the same name, but that is another story!) I don’t like to think of any of them as competition and I happily refer designers and design fans to many of the outstanding blogs out there even if it means losing out.
Okay, some of the blogs I have featured below may be a bit obvious but some of them are a way of life for me and many like-minded designers out there I’m sure. I also tried to choose a selection of newer upcoming blogs that you may not have heard and of course there is going to be blogs that you may feel I have not included in here, but I had to cap the list at 66 else it could have easily have gone on to 200+. Please feel free to comment and let me know who your fave blogs are if they aren’t in this list.

While I understand why many of these sites are on this list, I have to wonder how many of them actually talk about design versus just showing you design. If we are to groom the next breed of great designers or help the current crop grow even further why can’t there be more design blogs listed that actually focus on the whys of design. Most of the sites above are more about how to use a tool to create a design or 58 sites to see beautiful headers.
I’m not knocking the fact that you created this list, because if the site deserves the praise then it’s good to know that people are willing to give it out. But then again it falls on the design blogs that are trying to inform the community about design to step up their efforts and make themselves more well-known. I can only hope next time that http://www.drawar.com is worthy enough to make a list such as this because I feel at times that is the only way it will get noticed.
