My Blog is Carbon Neutral
Here at WDM we try and help the environment as much as we can and are proud to now be supporting the Make it Green Project. With helping this great project means that a tree will be planted for Web Design Mash and thereby neutralising our blog’s carbon footprint for the next 50 years! Everyone can make a small contribution to the environment. Remember… every tree counts!
What’s it all about?
The initiative are planting tree in Plumas National Forest which is situated in Northern California by Arbor Day Foundation who is partners with the “My blog is carbon neutral” initiative.
Due to a series of forest fires which were started by lightning strikes in 2007 which went on to burn 23,000 acres of Plumas timber and just 2 months later a Moonlight Fire went on to destroy a further more 65,000 forest acres and took more than 3 weeks to contain.
So here is how we can help
For every single blog that participates in this project, “Make it Green” and “Arbor Day Foundation” will plant a tree in Plumas National Forest. With ours and your support, we can help reforest Plumas National Forest with as much trees as possible.
Visit the Make it Green website and see how you can join.
